With Subicwater's operation of the water and sewerage systems in Olongapo City and the Subic Bay Freeport Zone a number of short-term priority projects were identified for:

Refurbishment and rehabilitation of existing facilities;
Expansion of water supply and sewage facilities and Reduction of non-revenue water

 

Subicwater is refurbishing and rehabilitating the water distribution network in Olongapo City and the Freeport Zone through replacement of dilapidated pipes, installation of isolation valves, painting of water reservoirs, pipeline expansion and improvement of surface water sources.

The net results of this have been: increased water pressure, reduced leaks, improved water quality and standards of service, and more satisfied customers.

These short-term projects lay the groundwork for medium and long-term programs.
