Subicwater's medium-term projects seek to establish additional treated water supply for Olongapo City through the production processed from the Subic Bay Freeport area.

The projects include the interconnection of the Olongapo pipeline network with the Subic Bay Freeport pipeline, and the expansion of the Mabayuan Filtration Plant.

The interconnection project has increased water pressure in the City, improved water quality, and paved the way for the establishment of independent water sub-systems which allow greater efficiency and control of water distribution. Three new connections have been provided between the Freeport area, the first a 400mm dia. pipeline from the Freeport Main gate along Magsaysay Drive and Rizal Avenue, the second a 200mm dia pipeline from West Kalayaan to Old and New Cabalan which can also be used to supply water into Sta. Rita and East bajac-bajac, and a 100mm dia pipeline from Kalaklan gate to the residents of Brgy. Kalaklan.
